Please share your availability for the 2025 programme!

The programme takes place at the SBIC headquarters in Noordwijk and attendance in person is mandatory for the (compulsory) core programme dates. The exact dates (potentially in weeks 21–28), the specific days (either Wednesday or Friday) and precise times (this will be around 16 hours per week, with at least 4 hours on site at SBIC) are now being finalised.

The full itinerary is yet to be announced and the input you share now will help to shape the schedule. Complete and submit the registration form (get the link to the MS Forms document here) to confirm your initial availability and intent to take part. You can also let us know what specific skills or aspects of entrepreneurship you would like to develop and we can then tailor the course accordingly. For this, we need to receive your completed registration form before 8 May.

Core programme of 5 (or more) insightful training days at SBIC

The exclusive programme is designed to fit the needs of most founders and entrepreneurs – with a primary purpose to be a pre-incubation programme that can lead to ESA BIC Noordwijk. This means a space connection is advised before submitting your application.

The Ignition Programme offers dedicated training with a core programme of 5 days (spread over 5 weeks) alongside other compulsory activities prior to, during and following the core training days. The goal is to deepen the various aspects of a successful idea. In essence, the programme educates startups to develop an insight-based and validated business plan.

The programme takes place at the SBIC headquarters in Noordwijk and attendance in person is mandatory for the (compulsory) core programme dates, so please share your availability when you submit your registration (get the link to the registration form here). If you have any questions, please get in touch.

You will learn about:

  • Research the space link of your business
  • Discover the technical feasibility of your idea
  • Learn about finance and IP
  • Improve your business model
  • Research the market need

These topics cover the requirements to create an insightful business plan, which will be required if you progress to apply for ESA’s business incubation programme in Noordwijk. So, join us this summer if you want to improve your chances to succeed when/if you apply during the ESA BIC selection round later this year.
