JOHAN Sports goes live

by | May 20, 2015 | ESA BIC, Incubatee, Satellite Navigation

JOHAN Sports offers the first affordable and usable tracking system for field sports on the global sports market. Every player wears a small, light and robust device to track their location, speed, distance travelled and accelerations. This measured data is visualised online in a personalised analysis environment for coaches and players.

JOHAN’s co-founder Jelle Reichert won the European Satellite Navigation Competition in 2013 (special topic prize ‘Most Promising EGNOS Application Idea’) and is now being incubated at ESA’s Business Incubation Centre in Noordwijk. Over the past two years the product has been developed and tested together with several professional sports organisations in the Netherlands. Currently, the step towards actual production and sales are being made. From July 2015, JOHAN will go live!
